Lexapro and Zoloft

I was put on lexapro after being taken to the hospital for self harm. I was on 10mL, I don’t know why they gave me the liquid version and not the pill it tasted disgusting, and the side effects were ass. Food had lost all flavor (and this was before covid) I was nauseous all the time, and arguably worst of all I couldn’t come. I was on that shit for 6 weeks before I could change medications and during those 6 weeks I tried every trick in the damn book to make myself come, but nothing worked. I felt broken. After having to face that I had depression and anxiety, something that was supposed to fix it took something else away from me. Then I switched to Zoloft THANKFULLY. At first I had side effects like dizziness and slight nausea but it went away after a few weeks. I started on 100mg and went to 150mg which is the dosage I’ve been on the longest. At 150mg i became a sweaty sleeper but I could come! Thank fuck! So now I take zoloft and I’m currently weening off of it with the help of my psychiatrist.
