Zoloft… Can U Actually Take it Without Food

The bottle says take with or without food. I take 150mg in the morning and one day I was in a hurry with my friend to get our nails done. I woke up late, ate nothing, took my meds and headed to the nail salon. The strong scent of chemicals was too much for me on an empty stomach and I ran out of the nail salon and threw up the fancy watermelon chia seed juice I had drank that morning, courtesy of my roommate the juice barista. Everyone in the nail salon thought I had covid and I was mortified because I had yakked mostly into my mask and I then vowed to never take meds on an empty stomach again
